Lunako Cosmetics is a love letter to black culture and identity. Every detail, from our packaging to our products, is designed to make our community feel seen and celebrated.Our illustrations are more than just pretty pictures,they’re a representation of our story.The Bantu knots in our illustrations aren't just a hairstyle – they're a powerful symbol of strength,resilience and unity “Amandla” which holds deep significance in the South African context.By showcasing diverse skin tones, hair textures, and features, including vitiligo, we're challenging traditional beauty standards and saying, "You are beautiful, just as you are.My dream is for black people to walk into a store and see themselves reflected in our brand, feeling seen, heard, and proud to say "this is us". I want Lunako to be a beacon of pride, self-love, and empowerment for our community.
